Nancy Huvendick
Nancy Huvendick, DC Program Director, has been a long-term advocate for school communities across DC, working particularly to prevent closing public schools. She has served as the parent/community representative on the Deal Junior High School Local School Restructuring Team and as co-chair of the Oyster Bilingual Elementary School Community Council. She has a BA in Art Education from Johnson State College and a MA in Art History from the George Washington University.
